A tracked lift reaches the crown without a climb and without heavy machinery crossing the garden — the stem comes down in stages, with the cut sections stacked beside the base.

Pruning & Reductions Winter work

Roped in for winter reduction work

Bare branches make the structure of a tree readable, which is why reductions and deadwooding are often best done in winter — the climber can see exactly what is coming out before a cut is made.
