Conifer dismantled section by section

The view from the top: limbs cut and lowered in controlled sections onto a clear drop zone, keeping the weight off the lawn and the fence line below.

Light brought back into a shaded plot

Selective felling to open up a heavily shaded corner, with the timber cut and stacked on site for the owner to season.

Conifer taken down from a tracked spider lift

A tracked lift reaches the crown without a climb and without heavy machinery crossing the garden — the stem comes down in stages, with the cut sections stacked beside the base.

A Clearbrook climber roped into a tall trunk beside a house, cutting the last of the upper limbs
Tree Removal Close to the house

Taken down in sections beside a house

Roped in and working down the stem a piece at a time, with the chainsaw hauled up on a separate line — the safe way to take a tree off a roofline with no room to fell.

Woodchip & Firewood Cleared and stacked

Brash chipped, timber stacked on site

Everything that comes down gets sorted: brash straight through the chipper, and the good timber cut to length and stacked for the owner to season for firewood.

A Clearbrook climber roped into the upper fork of a bare broadleaf tree on a clear day, working above a fence line
Pruning & Reductions Winter work

Roped in for winter reduction work

Bare branches make the structure of a tree readable, which is why reductions and deadwooding are often best done in winter — the climber can see exactly what is coming out before a cut is made.

Sectioning a stem under tree cover

Working from the basket in among standing trees, taking the stem down in short lengths so nothing swings into the trees left standing around it.

Woodchip & Firewood Processed on site

Timber split for firewood where it fell

The splitter comes to the timber rather than the other way round: rounds cut to length, split down beside the stack, and loaded straight into the truck.
